Arne Schmitt

Arne Schmitt (born in Mayen in 1984) lives and works in Zurich. After studying at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig (2005–2011), he continued his education at Hogeschool Sint-Lukas in Brussels (2011–2012). In 2014/2015, he took up a visiting professorship at the HfbK Hamburg.

His artistic work encompasses photography and visual art, characterized by a precise examination of form, time, and perception. Schmitt's works are exhibited internationally and feature in numerous collections.
