HOUSE OF
GALLERIES
art at the highest level
Trianon 43/44 floor
The 'House of Galleries' took place in Frankfurt am Main from January 24 to 26 as a pointed start to the year for contemporary art. 29 galleries from Frankfurt and all over Germany took up residence in the former boardrooms on the 43rd and 44th floors of the Trianon high-rise. After many years, the art location of Frankfurt thus once again received a long-awaited supra-regional format that brings together leading galleries from the city and beyond.

Trianon
the location
trianon, 43rd/44th floor
The venue is located in the heart of the Central Business District, just a two-minute walk from the Taunusanlage S-Bahn station and ten minutes from the main railway station. A public underground car park is available directly in the building. The premises on the 43rd and 44th floors, formerly the executive floors of Deka-Bank, include representative areas, a banquet hall and offices with a view of the skyline and the surrounding skyscrapers.
Talks
in the House of galleries
In summer and fall 2024, we paved the way to the 'House' discursively with the Talk of Galleries, but it cannot and should not end there. On Saturday, 25.01.25 from 14:00, we want to work with speakers from the art market, galleries and art to understand how the art business has changed and what role cooperation and communication play in this. We also want to reflect on which formats for art production, mediation, locations and their audiences have a future.
