Schierke Seinecke is delighted to present the exhibition "Qualia" with new paintings by David Borgmann at the start of the Frankfurt galleries' season.

The appeal of his works has always consisted in the unique application of color and the fine feeling for overwhelming landscape scenes. With his fourth solo exhibition in Frankfurt, the Leipzig painter is opening a new chapter. The so-called tilting moments of his paintings, which oscillate between representational and abstract depiction, take on a new quality. The artist focuses on his inimitable painting structures, which he uses more freely than ever before.

However, he never succumbs to the danger of arbitrariness. What Borgmann paints is always embedded in a context and forms a scenery that repeatedly makes a surprising appearance. This offers the viewer a more intense experience of the individual details that make up Borgmann's poignant pictures.
