Achim Riethmann
Achim Riethmann (born in London in 1979) studied art and design at Falmouth College of Art in Cornwall, England, before going on to study under Leiko Ikemura at Berlin University of the Arts from 2002 to 2007, graduating with a master's degree. He has received numerous prizes and awards, and his works are represented in important public and private collections.
In 2011, he was a guest lecturer at the Malta College of Art, Science, and Technology. His minimalist sculptures and watercolors often challenge viewers to form their own opinions due to their lack of context. Achim Riethmann lives and works in Berlin.
