The works of Jörg Ahrnt, Sabine Kuehnle and Nicole van den Plas are very different, but they are united by their examination of our cultural history. The works are always based on research that draws on the fields of archaeology, philosophy, psychology, art history, literature and their overlaps. In the special rooms of the Alte Schmelze, which unadornedly show their past, a joint presentation of these three positions would be exciting: not only through the interaction between work and space that would arise, but also through the dialog between the artists' works.
