In his new works, Julian Heuser deals with the eponymous backrooms - virtual spaces that, according to Internet legend, become accessible through "errors in reality". He makes the fusion of analog and digital visible in his two-part pictures by combining painting with printing and transfer techniques. Julian Heuser, born in 1986, completed his studies at the HfG Offenbach in 2021. The Backrooms is his fifth solo exhibition at FILIALE.
