In her works, Rachel von Morgenstern plays with the perception of space by using light and the transparency of the fabric to view color spatially. Surface, form and line are used to create additional tension within the compositions, which find their support and structure in the stability of the heavy stretcher frame.

"Flipside" is Rachel von Morgenstern's sixth solo exhibition at FILIALE.

She studied at the HfG Offenbach under Gunter Reski and Adam Jankowski and graduated from the Akademie der bildenden Künste Karlsruhe under Franz Ackermann in 2015.
