To mark the 100th anniversary of Ursula Edelmann's birth, PanGallery is presenting a comprehensive retrospective that honors the entire spectrum of her photographic work. At the same time,
the Frankfurt Historical Museum is hosting an exhibition of selected works on the history of the city. Both presentations highlight the significance of Ursula Edelmann as one of the most influential photographers of the German post-war period. A third exhibition—Sehnsucht nach Arkadien (Longing for Arcadia)—will be on display at the Kunsthaus Potsdam from January 18, 2026, featuring her photographs related to Brandenburg.

It is dedicated, among other things, to digitizing her photographic legacy. The exhibition Ursula Edelmann 100 invites visitors to explore the life and work of this versatile photographer in all its breadth and to appreciate her contribution to Frankfurt's visual culture.
