Werner Tübke was one of the most important artists of the GDR and one of the main representatives of the Leipzig School. He became world-famous above all for the panorama picture in Bad Frankenhausen. A large part of his graphic work is on display, above all lithographs, i.e. drawings on stone. Our exhibition is intended to complement the presentation of the Tübke works donated to the Städel Museum by Barbara and Eduard Beaucamp
