Genius Loci - The Soul of Frankfurt Hidden between the vibrant axes of the metropolis and its quiet, barely noticed corners is another Frankfurt - a lively network of memories, voices and atmospheres. Genius Loci - The Soul of Frankfurt invites you to discover this invisible city, beyond the glass facades and restless traffic.
With a painterly eye, Kejoo Park traces the hidden layers of the city and makes its soul visible - characterized by cultural change and the traces of the climate that inexorably shape urban life. Her poetic pictorial spaces capture light, change and the fragility of the present. Complementary interventions by other artists open up new perspectives and weave their perspectives into the growing fabric of the narrative.
A participatory mural project invites visitors to leave their own traces. Layer by layer, a collective work of art is created that transforms over the course of the exhibition and reflects Frankfurt's diversity. Genius Loci opens a door to a changed perception: Frankfurt appears as a breathing being whose heartbeat can be experienced in the dialog between art, space, change and people.
