With *Echo Park*, Andrea Damp continues her painterly exploration of landscape, memory, and perception. Her paintings emerge through a multi-layered process of layering, condensing, and revealing. Between abstract worlds of color and fragmentary figures, atmospheric spaces open up that defy a single interpretation and allow the gaze to wander between nature, memory, and imagination. Color, light, and surface thus become independent vehicles of a poetic visual language.
