In his third solo exhibition, “Provincials,” at FILIALE , artist Robin Stretz—born in Pirmasens in 1996— FILIALE a series of 24 watercolors centered on the fairy-tale-like “storybook houses” of Los Angeles. In these watercolors, he condenses them into an archive of cultural projections. He creates images of a city where nostalgia, imagination, and identity overlap.
