Die Galerie opens the 2026 exhibition year with Jan Muche's first solo exhibition at the gallery. The show also marks the start of his presentation at the Museum Wiesbaden in the fall. In his painting, Muche develops architecturally influenced pictorial spaces that tie in with early modernist trends. Steel constructions, clear lines, and geometric orders are transformed into color-intensive compositions between figuration and abstraction. Earthy, controlled colors meet surprising luminosity. The paintings are complemented by large-scale objects that open up new perspectives and linear relationships. The result is a multi-layered reflection on space, construction, and perception—a contemporary rethinking of modernism.
