“Organization of Breaks” features multimedia sculptures made of MDF, ceramics, and metal that explore work environments and the spatial conditions of breaks. The starting point is places such as depots, outdoor storage areas, smoking areas, storage shelves, and break areas, as well as objects and materials from everyday work life—including awnings, work clothes, cigarettes, and shoe prints.
The exhibition explores how breaks are organized, how they are integrated into work processes, and what role architecture plays in the organization of the workforce. Through shifts in scale and material translations, elements of industrial architecture and its infrastructure are recontextualized in a sculptural way.
